Ashley Graham is a Nebraskan born. As she grew with the rest of her siblings, she was frequently bullied by her peers due to her big legs. She was featured as a model in "Glamour Magazine" article "These Bodies are Beautiful at any size". Graham was once more in the news after she appeared in Lane Bryant's controversial ad. It was eventually removed from several markets. As the controversy grew her appearance in Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show".
