Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ as well as fellow UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started out in the form of an Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. The next two bouts came at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a hiatus to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left in 2018 the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the fight.
